These are a few of my favorite things...

Daniel is *not* singing the song from the "Sound of Music", but is dreaming happily on Cousin John's lap about visiting John and Francine in Atlanta.

Daniel's grin, clearly visible in the picture, comes from what he was told by John before he (Daniel) sacked out, perfectly comfortable in John's arms (John's been a Daddy twice over, so he knows this gig cold).

What was Daniel told about visting Atlanta? Well, to list a few (as Daniel recalls them):

1. There are soda fountains that dispense Coca Cola. Sugar AND caffeine... wheeeee! Watch Mommy try to catch me now! Ha ha ha ha haha!

2. There are an infinite variety of fried, sugared treats. Some are called donuts. Did I mention sugar? Wheeee! Look, Mommy, I can climb on the walls while driving you up them!

3. John is a pilot with tens of thousands of hours of air time. Now, when he does a barrel roll at Mach 1, I have a *legitimate* excuse to poop my pants!

4. Fall! The seasons actually change in Atlanta. Can you say "disruptive leaf pile influence"? That would be me, in about three years.

5. Fresh peaches. No, not the one with the fat knee obsession. The delicious fruit, fresh from local orchards outside the city.
