I hope it's a pony!

Daniel conducts a pre-dawn examination of the first of many presents received for his second birthday, and ponders whether this one is ridable. To Daniel's disappointment, while it is a lawn mower (the toy version), it's not the ride-on model. Daniel was pleased with the gift nonetheless -- months later, the toy continues to be one of his favorites. However, as it has those little balls that go "pop! pop! pop!" as Daniel pushes the mower down the hall, it is not one of Mommy's favorites.
