Taking it for a spin

People called Hilary crazy for buying a new highchair for Madeline, but she had several reasons for doing so. So, here they are, listed in no particular order. First of all, we kept Daniel in his high chair much longer than good sense and his weight class would dictate. His chair put forth a valiant effort but ultimately couldn't keep up with Daniel's rapid growth. So, we decided to send it to a ranch in Arizona where other high chairs like it have lots of room to run around. (Hilary's siblings will understand this inside joke.) Second, Hilary is earnestly trying to make sure that, as the second child, Madeline does not look back on her childhood as an endless stream of crappy hand-me-downs and gently (or not so gently) used furniture. Third, this chair matches the kitchen perfectly.
